VirtueMart PayPal Website Payments Pro

Take credit/debit card payments and accept PayPal Express Checkout with this PayPal Website Payments Pro component. Updated to include 3D Secure/VBV verification.

You can now use PayPal Express Checkout without accepting the Website Payments Pro agreement. PayPal Express Checkout enables standard PayPal customers to take a fast track through your checkout process. Instead of the customer going to PayPal pages at the payment stage, they go to PayPal pages from the basket page, and then return and proceed through checkout. At the end they don’t have to do anything or go anywhere, just confirm the payment. The advantage is that the customers name and address are transferred to your system from PayPal.

To use the Direct payment credit/debit card-processing facility, you will need to accept the Website Payments Pro agreement in your PayPal account, which means agreeing to a monthly payment to PayPal.

This is a Credit-card type payment method using an API to connect to the payment provider. Customers remain on your site and enter card details on your site, and do not necessarily know which payment provider is authorising the transaction on your behalf.

You need a SSL Certificate to use this payment method. This component adds 'Start date' and 'Issue number' fields to the payment page for Maestro/Solo cards.
